The client was moving into a developer-finished apartment - high ceilings, original stucco, but bare white walls. Brief: build a quiet interior for a family with two children, with emphasis on fabric and a warm palette.
Challenge
Two living rooms merged into a 60-metre space. Three 3.2 m tall windows - no off-the-shelf solution would do. The client wanted intimacy at night and full light during the day.
Solution
Linen curtains 280 g/m² with valances above each window. Ceiling-mounted rail (4.1 m), curtains run to the floor with a 2 cm pool. Underneath, light sheers with independent control.
Delivery
Six months from first conversation to keys. Measurement, design, 12 3D visualisations, execution documentation, coordination of four crews and final styling.
